Inconel X-750 is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy strengthened by the aging process, primarily through the formation of the '' phase [Ni3 (Al, Ti, Nb)]. This alloy exhibits excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 980 degree , along with high strength and relaxation resistance below 800 degree and 540 degree , respectively. Additionally, it offers good formability and welding performance, making it a versatile material for demanding applications.

Inconel X-750 wire is typically supplied in the annealed condition and can be precipitation-hardened to achieve optimal mechanical properties. Common heat treatment processes include:

• Solution Annealing: Heating to 1975 degree F (1080 degree ) followed by rapid cooling.
• Aging: Heating to 1300-1400 degree F (705-760 degree ) for 20 hours, followed by air cooling.
